Hotel software add-ons and integrations
Resort Manager runs on a core system — either Resort Manager or Resort Manager Lite — and you add only the interfaces your property actually needs.
That is the point: the system fits the hotel, and you are not paying for modules you will never open.
Before you read the list
- All nine work with both editions
- full Resort Manager and Resort Manager Lite.
- Some need additional hardware
- door locks and the telephone interface most obviously. We will tell you which apply to your property before you commit to anything, and we can supply and match the hardware if you want that handled in one place.
- You pick from the list
- Nothing here is bundled in to inflate a quote.
Channel Manager Interface
Keeps your rooms selling correctly everywhere you sell them.
- Synchronises availability, rates and reservations in real time between Resort Manager and your channel manager.
- Bookings from any connected channel arrive in Resort Manager without anyone retyping them, and a booking taken at reception closes inventory everywhere.
- Removes the overbooking and double-booking risk that comes from managing channels by hand.
- Lets you move rates and promotions with demand rather than after it.

We work through a channel manager — primarily SiteMinder — rather than connecting to each online travel agent directly. Why, and what the trade-off is.
PABX Interface (Telephone)
Connects Resort Manager to the hotel telephone system.
- Call billing posted automatically to the guest folio.
- Room status updates driven by phone usage.
- Guest services activated through the telephone system.
- Removes the manual step between the switchboard and the bill, which is where telephone revenue usually leaks.

May require additional hardware.
Electronic Key / Lock Interface
Links Resort Manager to electronic key card door locks.
- Encodes key cards with guest information at check-in.
- Activates and deactivates keys automatically against check-in and check-out status, so a departed guest's card stops working without anyone remembering to cancel it.
- Logs key usage, giving a record of room access.
- Speeds up check-in and closes the security gap left by manual key management.

May require additional hardware.
Customer Relations Management Interface
Passes guest data between Resort Manager and your CRM system.
- Moves preferences, behaviours and stay histories between the two systems.
- Gives staff prior stays, special requests and preferences at the point they are talking to the guest.
- Keeps one consistent view of a guest across departments, rather than four partial ones.
- Lets promotions and communication be targeted on real guest profiles.

Guest Internet Access Control Interface
Ties guest Wi-Fi to the guest record.
- Provisions and deactivates internet access automatically on check-in and check-out.
- Removes the manual step of issuing and revoking access codes.
- Supports charging for tiers of service where you offer them.
- Tightens security by ensuring access ends when the stay does.

Remote Access to Resort Manager
Lets authorised staff work from anywhere with an internet connection.
- Monitor live data, make reservations, check availability and manage guest profiles off site.
- Owners and managers can answer a question or approve something without being on the property.
- Useful for multi-property owners and for anyone who does not live where the hotel is.

Currency Exchange Rate Interface
Keeps multi-currency figures current without anyone typing rates in.
- Delivers exchange rates into the system daily, rather than relying on someone remembering to update them.
- Applies to room rates, invoicing and guest services alike.
- Rates can be held separately for buying and selling.
- Matters most where you have an international clientele and the alternative is a stale rate quietly costing you money on every transaction.

Housekeeping Mobile App
Puts room status in the hands of the people changing the rooms.
- Housekeepers receive and update cleaning assignments from a mobile device.
- Maintenance staff log and close repair requests where the fault is, rather than back at a desk.
- Room status reaches the front desk immediately, so reception stops phoning housekeeping to ask whether a room is ready.
- Cuts the lag between a room being finished and a room being sellable.

Point of Sales Mobile App
Takes the till to the guest.
- Orders and transactions from a mobile device, tableside in a restaurant, at the pool, anywhere you serve.
- Updates the central system in real time, so revenue data stays accurate and integrated rather than reconciled later.
- Works across restaurants, bars and gift shops.

Not sure which of these your property needs? That is a normal place to start. Tell us how you operate and we will say which apply — and which do not.
Common questions
Which channel manager does Resort Manager work with?
Primarily SiteMinder. Resort Manager connects to your online distribution through a channel manager rather than integrating with each online travel agent directly — how that works, and the trade-off.
Do add-ons require additional hardware?
Some do — the lock and key interface and the PBX interface being the obvious cases. The add-on list is marked accordingly, and we will tell you which apply to your property before you commit to anything.
